What is personal data?

The term personal data is defined in the Federal Data Protection Act. According to this, it is individual information about personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, your civil name, your address, your telephone number or your date of birth.

Anonymous data collection and processing

Unless otherwise stated in the following sections, no personal data is collected, processed or used when using our websites. An access log by our web server has been completely deactivated. However, we do learn certain technical information through the use of Google Analytics based on the data transmitted by your browser (e.g. browser type/version, operating system used, websites visited on our site incl. length of stay, previously visited website). We only evaluate this information for statistical purposes.

No data transfer to third parties

Your data will not be transferred to third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so or it is required to process your order e.g. when processing payment or your address to the delivery company.
Depending on which payment service provider you select in the order process, we will pass on the payment data collected for this purpose to the credit institution commissioned with the payment and, if applicable, to the payment service commissioned by us. In some cases, the selected payment service providers also collect this data themselves if you create an account with them. In this case, you must register with the payment service provider with your access data during the ordering process. In this respect, the privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies.

The basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Cookies

The Internet pages sometimes use so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser (e.g. Edge, Mozilla Firefox or Chrome).
Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser the next time you visit us or to restore created print data in the editor if you have left our shop without creating an account.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser.
If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited, e.g. no articles can be saved on the watch list or you cannot log in.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

    browser type and browser version
    operating system used
    referrer URL
host name of the accessing computer
    time of the server request

This data is not merged with other data sources.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Registration on this website

You can register on our website to use additional functions on the site. We will only use the data entered for this purpose for the purpose of processing your order. The mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full. Otherwise, we will reject the registration.

For important changes, for example in the event of errors in the print data or in the event of technically necessary changes, we will use the e-mail address provided during registration to inform you in this way - this also takes place if you have purchased "Print Data Check" or "FSC with Print Data Check".

The processing of the data entered during registration takes place on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke your consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data collected during registration will be stored by us for as long as you are registered on our website and will then be deleted. Legal retention periods remain unaffected.

Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking

This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising programme of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("Google").

As part of Google AdWords, we use so-called conversion tracking. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie is set for conversion tracking. Cookies are small text files that the internet browser stores on the user's computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and do not serve to personally identify the user. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we will be able to recognise that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.

Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked across AdWords customers' websites. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted in to conversion tracking. The customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that personally identifies users. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking, you can object to this use by easily deactivating the Google conversion tracking cookie via your internet browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

The storage of "conversion cookies" is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its website and its advertising.

More information on Google AdWords and Google Conversion- Tracking can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you disable cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.

SSL encryption

This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries that you send to us as site operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

On our website we offer, among other things, payment via PayPal. The provider of this payment service is PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (hereinafter "PayPal").

You have the option to revoke your consent to data processing at any time. A revocation does not affect the validity of past data processing operations.
